Sandwiches
Two pieces of bread with something in between them. Seems like a simple enough formula for a quick meal. There are seven basic sandwiches. (1) plain old sandwiches like PB&J, bologna and cheese and ham and swiss on rye, (2) open face, (3) Wraps, the sandwich ingredients wrapped in a tortilla, (4) pinwheels, like the wrap but the ingredients, are spread over the whole tortilla, rolled into a tight tube and sliced into rounds, (5) grilled, same as regular but gilled on a grill or panini maker to make the cheese gooey and gooey, (6) Stacked or Double Decker, same as regular but with extra slices of bread to create the layers and, (7) Anything that is “sandwiched” together to be eaten, like ice cream sandwiches.
